We need mystery: Richard Wagamese’s novel Indian Horse

The universe is a mystery, and "we need mystery," according to Saul Indian Horse's grandmother. In this lecture for East and West Learning Connections I talk about the poetry and politics of the novel Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese. I cover topics of love, trauma, indigenous experiences at residential schools, memoir, ice hockey, and the importance of brotherhood and community.
